How big does a Mini Aussiedoodle get?

Adult Mini Aussiedoodles weigh 15–25 pounds. We raise our Minis in Oppelo, Arkansas, and this is the size range we breed for — small enough to be portable and apartment-friendly, yet sturdy enough for active families and homes of all sizes.

Mini vs. Toy vs. Standard Aussiedoodle

Aussiedoodles come in three size varieties. We raise Mini Aussiedoodles (15–25 lbs) — the middle size and the one we've built our program around. Toy Aussiedoodles are the smallest variety, and Standard Aussiedoodles are the largest. Because we focus exclusively on Minis, every puppy we place falls in that 15–25 lb adult range, so families always know what to expect.

How to estimate your puppy's adult size

The most reliable indicator is the parents. We're happy to share the weights of your puppy's dam and sire so you can gauge where your pup will land within the 15–25 lb range. A puppy's paws and early growth curve also offer clues, and we discuss expected sizing for any specific litter before you commit.

Growth timeline by month

Our puppies are raised in our home, and growth is fastest in the first few months, slowing as they approach their adult weight of 15–25 lbs. Here's a general timeline:

• Birth–2 weeks: newborn stage, eyes opening.
• 3–8 weeks: socialization and weaning in our home.
• 8 weeks: typical age our puppies are ready to go home.
• 2–6 months: rapid growth toward adult height.
• 6–12 months: filling out toward the adult weight of 15–25 lbs.
